Writing Intensive Workshop

Friday, February 27, 2026 | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Friday, February 27, 2026
in Phoenix, Arizona

A Call for Recalibration and Creativity

This isn’t about performance or perfection. It’s about offering ourselves fully to God and responding to the creative and songwriting call He’s placed within us. Whether you’re a seasoned worship leader, an aspiring songwriter, or someone longing to give language to what God is stirring in your heart, this space is for you.

Step into a sacred space where songwriting, creativity, and worship meet. The HWC Writing Intensive is more than an event. It’s an invitation to pause, breathe, and recalibrate your heart toward God while making room for the songs He wants to birth in and through you. We’ll gather as a community of worshipers and creatives to listen, write, and create from a place of intimacy, allowing Him to refresh and renew us.

This is a time to refocus, reconnect, and let God’s presence shape both our hearts and the songs we carry.

Let’s pursue Him together with hearts wide open, listening ears, and willing hands, ready to steward what He entrusts to us.

A No-Judgment Writing Space

This Intensive is intentionally designed as a no-judgment, no-pressure environment. You don’t have to arrive with finished songs or perfect ideas—just an open heart.

This is a space to write honestly, to explore what God is doing in your life right now, and to create alongside others without comparison or performance. Unfinished lyrics, questions, and raw beginnings are welcome here.

Come as you are. Write from truth. Let God meet you in the process.

Kevin also trains Musical Worship Leaders at Adoration House Seattle.

At Heart Worship Collective, our team is made up of passionate worship leaders, creatives, and mentors with a heart for guiding others into deeper intimacy with God. We are a diverse group, united by a shared calling to serve and support worship creatives on their spiritual and creative journeys. You can learn more about our team here.

It’s not about us—it’s about how you show up.

But at the heart of Heart Worship Village, it’s not about us—it’s about how you show up. While we are here to serve and guide you, the real transformation comes from your willingness to be open, transparent, and ready for God to work in you. This cohort is an opportunity to seek God with an earnest heart and let Him reveal how to live a life of worship that goes beyond music and into every part of who you are.

The Heart Over Status

At HWC, we aren’t focused on status or accolades—it’s all about the heart. David was known as a man after God’s own heart long before he was king, faithfully serving in the pasture. That’s the call for each of us: to serve the Lord humbly, with a heart ready to be shaped and molded. We believe that true worship leadership begins here, where status fades, and the heart for God leads.
